Sailing my vessel down the Nile
The oarsman, who oddly enough looked a lot like President Nasser, asked me to take over steering for a bit while he minded the sail. Clearly my face of confidence lets on to my extensive experience as a sailor.
you look very content in that picture, Pauline. lovely. also I enjoyed learning about the city of the dead. very informative. i like the mention of slum tourism.
As a former Fulbright Fellow and graduate of the University of Michigan, I take my research seriously. I don't like unturned rocks, especially when it comes to my favorite field of study: Arab and Islamic Studies. My studies have sent me all over the Middle East--spending extensive time in the West Bank and Egypt--and my work with the National Democratic Institute has given me the opportunity to return on numerous occasions.
